What materials are used in your products?
Most of our products are crafted from eco-friendly and sustainable PLA or PETG materials that reflect our commitment to nature. We prioritize these materials when possible. Some designs meant for outside do require different materials, such as ASA, so the item can better withstand UV rays and heat. Each item listing will state what the material is though.
What about visible layer lines on my 3D print?
Layer lines are a natural part of FDM 3D printing- they're the tiny horizontal ridges from each layer stacking up. They're not defects; they're how the tech works. I use finer settings and hand-finish every piece to make them as subtle as possible for a smooth premium feel. If you're after ultra-smooth (like injection molded), these won't match that exactly, but the organic texture adds unique character to rustic / nature designs like the tree stumps or corals. Photos show real examples!
Are the items handmade or mass produced?
Each piece is 3D printed one at a time in my Texas workshop, then hand-finished (sanding, cleaning, sometimes painting). No factory runs-true maker quality with personal care.
Is PLA safe for everyday use?
Absolutely - non-toxic, oderless after printing, and great for home decor / organizers. Not recommended to eat off item due to the somewhat porous nature of surface; however serving nuts, candies, or crackers from the item is fine.
How to care for 3D printed items?
For items made from PLA, avoid direct sunlight as this can cause the item to warp over time and fade the color - just like most other things exposed to the sun. To clean, just rinse under warm, but not hot water, and use mild soap, such as dawn. Do not place the item in the dishwasher as the extreme temperatures will melt the plastic.
For items made from ASA, it's still not recommended to put the item in the dishwasher, but the material won't deform unless the temperatures reach 212 degrees Fahrenheit. These items can be left outside as they are highly UV resistant.
Are your designs original or licensed?
Many of my pieces are original designs I create or modify myself, while others use high-quality models from talented designers under commercial licenses that allow me to print and sell the physical items. I still use computer software though to refine each model before printing to get the best result and hand-finish every print in my Texas workshop for that premium touch. All sales are fully authorized - feel free to ask about any specific piece!
